General Rules

Submit your predictions before the first game starts each week.

Scoring

  • 40 points for a perfect score
  • 10 points if you predict the correct result (win, lose, draw)

Prediction deadlines:

  • If you predict after a game has kicked off, you will score 0 points for that game (if there are multiple games kicking off at the same time you will score 0 for all games which kicked off that day). You can still predict for games the day after ( E.g. you predict on Saturday after 3pm – you can still pick up points for the remaining games of the round)

Predicting multiple times:

  • If you accidentally predict multiple times, it’s the first submission which counts

Confirmation of your predictions:

  • When you submit your predictions you will receive a confirmation email. If you think you predicted but you didn’t receive a confirmation email, check your table, if you have ‘Y’ next to your name then your predictions have been received. If not, submit your predictions again. If you still don’t have confirmation (and it’s definitely not in your junk) then contact the administrator

Tied places at the end of the season:

  • If any positions are tied at the end of the season, the higher position will be decided based on the number of 40 points for the season.

FA Cup Rules

  • Highest scorer in the head to head will progress to the next round
  • Any game cancelled or rearranged will be void from the round.
  • Scores will be as of 90 minutes – draws are possible
  • In case of a fixture being postponed or cancelled due to COVID those predictions will be ignored unless in the latter stages of the competition where 10 points will be award for correct result based on prediction and team progressing.
  • In case of a tie, the predictor with the lowest goal difference will progress (i.e. Predict Wigan 1 v 2 Man U and the score is 0 – 3 then your GD will be +2. 1 goal out of the Wigan score and 1 out of the Man U score.)
  • In the eventuality that the games are still tied, then closest predictor to time of the first goal will go through, only applicable in the latter rounds.

Champions League Rules

  • Highest scorer in the head to head will progress to the next round
  • The winners will go in to the semi final
  • Normal rules apply (scores in 90 minutes only) until the top gun remains.
  • Scores will be as of 90 minutes – draws are possible
  • In the case of a tie, then the person with the most 40 points followed by GD, followed by closest predictor to the first goal. If there is no goal in any fixture it will be the predictor who predicted the latest goal out of the head to heads.

Playoff Rules

  • Qualification to the play offs is positions 5th to 8th in both the Championship and in League One
  • Final league positions will dictate the head to head fixtures. 5th will play 8th and 6th will play 7th.
  • Predictions are based on 90 minutes, so draws are still possible in all games including finals.
  • In case of a tie in the round then the predictor with the most perfect results will go through (i.e. number of 40 points)
  • In case still tied, the predictor with the lowest goal difference will progress (i.e. Predict PNE 1 v 2 Luton and the score is 0 – 3 then your GD will be +2. 1 goal out of the PNE score and 1 out of the Luton score.)
  • If still tied after that it will come down to closest to the time of the first goal out of all the fixtures in the second legs and finals.
  • After the second legs the winners of the ties will go head to head in the divisional play off final weekend.
  • Finally the winner of the head to head will be promoted to the PLPL Premier League or Championship depending on your respective league.
  • NOTE – you will not be in line for a £200m revenue bonanza
